Do you think realistically we could ever eliminate poverty or is it and will it always be inevitable for some people?

Here's my thing, I believe every human being alive has a fundamental right to: clean and safe housing, water, food, and healthcare, including mental health - those are things that can absolutely be accomplished, if there were any will to actually do it. And it's not a matter of resources - I'll bet there is as much or more money spent on bureaucracy and red tape to limit and cut people off from resources as there would be if it were just given freely, and don't get me started on bomber money. We pay now or we pay later, but we always pay - all I'm saying is let's pay before things fall apart for people rather than after (maybe, and usually not nearly enough)

Anyway, If a government provides those things to everyone, no individual's lack of income will be crippling
