What's something that sounds completely bizarre to you in a different accent? Girl from London at work says "gay rage" instead of "garage".

Hm, there must be another British accent where 'garage' rhymes with 'disparage' which I guess kinda makes sense looking at it just now... anyway it's not really bizarre but I always thought it was cute when native Japanese speakers learn English and a word like 'page' comes out as 'pay-gee' because they're so used to words ending in a vowel
