Say you started dating someone. None of you wanted anything serious and that was OK. After 2 years dating, would you expect anything changing? Or would you still hold on to what was planned when you both started?
I would be more surprised if neither person changed in two years - I might be the one who changed and wants something serious now, either way there's nothing to do but talk it out and see if you're still on the same page
