Is it morally correct for the West to complain about press freedom in Russia, while closing down Russian news channels in thir own countries?

the entire western response to the situation is hypocrisy of the highest order, the US would do the exact same thing in Russia's shoes - if some country backed a coup in Mexico and installed a hostile puppet regime, you better believe America would march in there and 'restore democracy'
