Who do you think has the coolest sword in fiction? Could be appearance, lore, whatever you like about it.
I have a few, I like Utage's for being the shishiou which if you weren't ever into Japanese sword history (because of tkrb personally) it was a sword said to have slain a nue, I also love skadi's design wise and also the fact it's made of a special metal to withstand her insane level of strength
Great Sword 'Karuma' from the great ace attorney chronicles.
Flamerge's Flamberge (star allies) is neat and is actually what I based one of my own characters' sword off of!! Don Quixote's (limbus) sword lance thing is also really neat
have you heard of the Sword of Khaine from Warhammer? Also known as the Widowmaker? the Godslayer? the Doom of Worlds? the Spear of Vengeance? it is a blade forged from the SHARD of a weapon made for the elven god of war Khaine. I'm cheating slightly since it has no fixed shape. It's been a sword, but it takes whatever form best fits its user. It is said that the sword is always hungry for the destruction and blood of others, exerting its influence and appearing in the dreams of all the Elves. It goes beyond being a weapon and turns into a fucking force of nature. many elves won't even speak of it by name.
Am I going to get smacked for saying Skadi because it's absolutely Skadi even my inherent bias aside
Cool hi-tech claymore?? Sex???
