A question of OC havers:
Do you have a Tarot card (upright or reversed) that you associate with your OCs? Feel free to explain the reasoning!
Devil -> Reversed Devil for the start when she finds her own identity and then for her later part of her life, Reversed World -> World as she is pulled out from a stagnant life.
oh boy ive never delve into tarot cards so i actually have to go into research for this. i think dr moby would def be the moon since it pretty much fits their lore and personality. they have alot of uncertainty surrounding their career, love and finances at the beginning which makes em feel like theyre at a dead end (pre amnesia moby). but after some experience and guidance from college and friends, they can make the right decisions.
Personally, The Heirophant!
I have thought about making a Tarot Deck for my OCs for a while. I explored them a while ago and ever since, i’ve strongly associated Aita (or Cordelia), as the Magician card. She’s resourceful, powerful, and has a lot of drive to make things right. But she used underhanded tricks, manipulation for example. And her giddiness can lead to poor planning, with her leads often falling through. These are key meanings of the Magician card, both presented upright or reversed.
Oh man, I answered this before. HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOO
The Chariot arcana is commonly associated with aggression and one's focus towards their own goals. Chariot's backstory of aimless wandering and a general sense of powerlessness when he left Kazimierz matches the interpretation of the reversed arcana. His current self as a Vanguard Operator (specifically, a Charger, an inherently proactive and aggressive subclass) and his taking charge of rescuing civilians and leading other Operators in Starfrost's Night represent an interpretation of the upright arcana.
for iserlohn probably upright the fool or the world. he is both incredibly knowledgeable (when it comes to matters of pure fact and scientific deduction) and incredibly naive (when it comes to the culture of living beings) so he could really fit either. his journey on terra is a journey of recording the history of humanity on it as well as learning more about them as mortal beings in general. as a star (physics) he has a deep and instinctive knowledge of the fundamental rules of reality as well as being able to manipulate it (gravity for example) but these things are basically useless for predicting human behaviour so he can't really 'cheat' using his existing knowledge when it comes to navigating society, having to learn it just like anyone else
Di=Aster is tbe reversed Lovers card, as she is waiting for somethinf that never will come.
Saren is reversed strength, as she may be powerful, but she is way too ambitious.
Roach is The Reversed hermit, as you never actually know where he would be crawling out.
Thresher is the upright hanged man, as he knows something we may never know
Afterglow is the reversed moon, she doesn't really like to talk much.
Nia is the rightside judgement, she really was a street punk
Aota is six of swords rightsidw, as although she is a leader, she really likes to move a lot.
Albus is Rightside four of swords, as she was a outcast, and one that with most vigilance
Edenless is the queen of rods rightside up, she wants something that most of her kind doesn't have compared to other species.
I could go even more.
