Do you have many residential gated communities where you live? What do you think of the concept/history of gated communities?
Yes, even within established neighborhoods there are gated sections. I think if you have the money and want the extra security that’s all well and good, but I also think it ruptures their sense of community overall. So if used for security I approve, if used for a sense of “exclusivity” I find that to be silly and haughty.
