Sometimes you forget about yourself completely when you think your loved ones need you. About two months ago I had some problems regarding my health. My blood sugar was high as well as the level of triglycerides in my veins. At the time I also found out that I have a suspicious nodule in my thyroid. I was under a lot of stress and then one day my sister called and told me that she and mom are sick. Immediately COVID came to my mind. So the next day, I went to my hometown. My mom was ill and it got worse day by day. She insisted that she didn't want to go to hospital but then she became so weak that I couldn't listen to her anymore. I took her to hospital. My cousin, who was a nurse at the hospital, told me that her lungs were seriously involved. She had to be hospitalized. I was about to burst into tears. What if I lose her? Why didn't I bring her to hospital earlier? These were the thoughts that were drilling my mind at the time. For a week I visited her each day. I was either in the hospital or near its building the whole day worrying about my mom's life. At this point, I completely forgot about my own health problems and just wanted my mom to stay alive. Fortunately after a week being in hospital, she became better and gained her strength. We took care of her for about two more weeks in home. I felt relieved as she was getting better ...
