Life is going to be hard enough for them- there'll be plenty of challenges that'll test her post education.

I just want effort really

Definitely an easy A

In school I want to see two things out of my kid more than anything else : intellectual curiosity and effort. If I see those two things, I don't care about grades at all.

I'd want my kid to be putting in effort no matter what grade they're getting.

I'd prefer the lessons learned from getting hard-earned C, tough both a things to be proud of.

I wouldn't be too hard on my kid if he or she is trying..intelligence is rarely judged by grades... lol it's funny if u give ur wife the hard C in her easy A you wouldn't have a kid :p

I watched two groups of kids recently come out of seperate schools. One group was from the uniformed tradiational school and they huddled in a homogenous group. The other were from the non uniformed progressive more arty school where each child had their own 'look'. The second is where I would imagine a child of mine. If I had one. I felt sad. And hey maybe my kid would have said 'Mom I wanna conform and become a banker'. lol.
