I have around 20 books in my collection but they are all written by men. Can you recommend a book to me, written by a female author?

Anais Nin was quite funny to read, Zadie Smith if you want to read something 21st century ... Mary Shelly if you prefer the classics, Scheherazade comes to mind who did a beautiful work ;) ... Doris Lessing wrote intense things, Virginia Woolf a writer and a class of her own, Clarice Lispector, well the list could go on, but nobody can know if you like those works. I admit to Jane Austen and Patricia Highsmith and I do not like Simone deBeauvoir.

Alias Grace by Margaret atwood. The girl on the train by.... Have to check the author but pretty sure it's a woman.
