No, I don't think I've ever seen those here. Just in the south. Florida is full of them, as was South Carolina when I briefly stayed there. I would think people in places ran by Republicans experience a larger than normal wealth inequality and therefore people with money feel less secure about being broken into. The more desperate people get the more likely they'd resort to petty crimes like burglary.
