i’m not dealing with the differences in each person’s level of empathy and accountability to respect others, especially when betrayal comes from people we trust the most. it takes a significant lack of responsibility to not be honest with those who trust us. instead of dealing with the aftermath from forcing something beyond my control, how others should treat me, i detach myself from it. i let them be the way they are, whatever makes them sleep better, then.
