I so totally support that. green is mido ofc, gatekeeper and blue is mikoto. purple,, i think purple would be the artistic alters who. likes art. yeah. cause mikoto canonically does it but he kinda given up;( purple would love analyzing stuff, going to art galleries, poetry and classical literature!!! they r pretty melancholic and calm, but super kind and passionate when they get to talk about art.

I'm good, thank you, hope you're okay too :D it is totally possible!! it's true that "larger" systems are more common and also, from my own and others experience i know that it kinda takes time to acknowledge other alters, so there is an option that after some time you will be like "oh, nvm, there's also this guy. and this. and oh these 5 other guys in the corner. oh. hatsune miku." (/lhj) but if that won't happen, there is nothing wrong with that! If it helps u, my system is also quite confusing, we have distinct members, while also having parts and fragments. not everyone has their own feeling of identity, but some do, so it feels annoying sometimes, you know, there's our co-host that we are besties with and all, but then there are also some nameless mfs that i know exist and front sometimes in certain situation but i'm unable to communicate with them for now. i guess it's a result of our own experience and denial, a bit of trying to force fusion and stuff but it's just a guess honestly. anyway yeah not gonna get personal here i just wanted to say that i get you cause i myself often stess over my experience being quite different than most of my sys friends and i have moments when i am like "thats impossible, i got it all wrong" even though i know i didn't and we're literally medically recognized so,,
and yeah it's true that system rep with only 2 alters gets criticized a bit, because in the end many systems do have more and want to see that too, but it doesn't mean it is inaccurate or something!! smaller systems are also common and valid :) i personally don't want mikosys to be just mikoto and john, but not because I hate the idea of just 2 alters but because John split in mikoto's twenties and DID comes from early childhood trauma so it would be just inaccurate. plus mido theory just makes so much sense come on bcjdhg
but yeah, to answer you: it is possible! just like it is possible that you haven't been able to contact the others yet, but that's not something to worry about, it doesn't make you any less real and whether you discover more headmates or not, you are completely valid and you aren't less of a system !!<3

Well, it's true that not every information online will be good and dissociative discorders have a bad history with it, but medical skepticism isn't too good. like, yk, there's a difference between diagnosis criteria which u asked for and between stuff that's mostly about personal experience of systems, like how certain stuff feel etc, because that's really broad and depends on many stuff. I totally think that to educate yourself on most stuff u can't just google dsm5, but in this case it's just,, the only option ig? like I really couldn't provide more detailed answer bc I can only speak on myself💔 i know u had no bad intentions and I appreciate u wanting to learn, don't worry!!

Hi, as I said on twitter I don't answer stuff immedietly and usually I need some time, sorry for keeping you waiting, my adhd and being uni student doesn't really let me👍 also i got one question about it, not two?? but okay uh generally osdd is diagnosed when not all diagnostic symptomps for DID are met, the main difference is that DID systems have more distinct alters and experience dissociative amnesia between them, OSDD-1a systems have less distinct alters and often see them more as parts or versions of themselves while experiencing the amnesia and OSDD-1b systems have distinct alters and don't really experience this sort of amnesia. Of course most systems still deal with dissociative amnesia, but there's like difference between the one between switching and the. more general one. HOWEVER it is just the most basic thing between these discorders that differs them and it is obviously not the same for everyone, experiences of systems vary. Im sorry for not providing you a more detailed answer, but I can really just speak about myself. I'm open to questions about my experience on more specific system-related stuff (unless I find it too personal) and I really appreciate you wanting to educate yourself, but when it comes to topics like this one, I honestly would recommend just googling it and reading more about diagnostic criterias and experiences of other systems than me, doing your own reaserch, because it isn't a hard information to find and it will probably take you less time that waiting for my answer . Please don't get me wrong, I appreciate you wanting to learn, but I am really just a teenager that is on twitter mostly to tweet about their interests and me being open about my discorder doesn't make me an educational account.
