HE/THEY MARCO MY NEW BELOVED??? marco leaving la and going on a roadtrip and finding things that make them even more comfortable in their skin?? like he stops at a tiny music store and the person refers to him as they and he likes it so they try it more and Yes.

(marco finding things to wear that better fit how they feel. still with the ugly shirts but from the other side of the store. adding a nonbinary flag bracelet to his stack of bracelets. spaghetti strap ~girly tank tops instead of their usual ones. etc.)

and then, of course, stopping in arizona and meeting elliot and their sibling sasha and marco realizing they have found their people.

the mind meld adoptive twins lives in my head rent free so i feel you. i live for that concept tbh. like. marco having a bf and sort of gf. tj having a gf and sort of bf. (them wondering if this makes the other their, like, boyfriend in law??)
