did i ever tell you btw about the au i have where ben was alone with beast when ben said he wanted to bring the vks over and beast called him a villain sympathizer and threw him on the isle "to see for himself if they would choose good" (this of course, ends with ot5 and all of them + the sea three + all the other vks getting off the isle and basically deposing beast) (this also involves ben ending up with fangs and the facial hair and claws bc he should have kept them in d3.)
also the au where mal was born with wings that maleficent stole when she was a baby that she gets back during the plot of d2 solely bc mal with wings sounded like fun

not to dump depressing adoptive twins thoughts on you but. the fact that ben and nancy are major vegetarians (except for the hurricane's scene) PLUS the recovering drug addiction probably means elliot has Food Issues. i also suspect ben and nancy were the "eat it even if the texture makes you want to puke" kind of parents and autistic elliot......

anyway, sasha and elliot finding comfort foods (that aren't just starburst/flamin hots) together after the annex and shit and both of them learning to cook bc the only thing sasha can reliably cook is, like, mac and cheese.

hello i am having autistic adoptive twins thoughts and felt you should also have this concept

elliot's wardrobe being bc he can't tolerate most tshirts and jeans
elliot having to "be taught how to be a human being" screams autistic behavior, especially the idea of not showing emotions ~correctly
elliot just keeping his head down and reading books about everything he can get his hands on bc if, like, reading as an activity could be a special interest, that would be one of his
sasha being the school weirdo not just for the heart attack but because she was that quiet kid who didn't always get sarcasm (bonus autistic yvonne whose Special Interests are nails and computers)
sasha who shares yvonne's interest in nails and elliot's interest in reading
sasha who wears her hair in the impractically long and loose style she has for most of the series because there's only a handful of hair ties she can stand sensory wise and wearing most of the same clothes as elliot for similar reasons (material + style + etc)
both of them just kind of having the spider sense moment from into the spider-verse between miles and peter parker except autistic and connecting on that level too

okay so depressing backstory for music au: nancy and ben are the absolute worst stage parents in existence. the "probably vicariously living their dreams out through their kid" kind. elliot, pre-transition, and becky get shoved into a girl group put together by the annex at the age of, like, thirteen. you can imagine how well this went for elliot and becky's mental health.
fast forward a few years, where elliot, like canon, was pushed into drugs etc (and came out just before not so coincidentally) and becky was horribly traumatized by various things growing up in the industry and with parents who are the absolute worst. cue becky, when their parents want to announce the continuation of the group past the twins being eighteen, doing as she does in canon because it's just. she's that fucked up over it. elliot handles it.... well. (not) he moves into a tiny apartment bc he refuses to deal with his parents anymore and almost quits music entirely bc it cost him his sister.
(of course, one day he's visiting a music store to look at some of their instruments when he hears a bitching guitar solo and an even more awesome voice and meets sasha because he finds himself playing along despite it being a completely original song. sasha drags elliot home with her where he is promptly adopted by frank and the rest of cottonwood records and that's how type two twins is born. and then on their first tour when they're opening for someone, the other opener is marco. you can guess how that goes.)
