not to dump depressing adoptive twins thoughts on you but. the fact that ben and nancy are major vegetarians (except for the hurricane's scene) PLUS the recovering drug addiction probably means elliot has Food Issues. i also suspect ben and nancy were the "eat it even if the texture makes you want to puke" kind of parents and autistic elliot......
anyway, sasha and elliot finding comfort foods (that aren't just starburst/flamin hots) together after the annex and shit and both of them learning to cook bc the only thing sasha can reliably cook is, like, mac and cheese.

Also, I think Nancy breaking it while ‘craving’ during her Physiomatic pregnancy was also likely a mindfuck for Elliot — he seemed genuinely shocked so it was probably one of their hard rules for him.

Low-key doubt he even eats pure meals unless it’s dinner his parents barely make (like? They invited Ruth and Evan round for one with him, which is insane bc they both know how much Ruth&Evan dislike their son 💀…and I’m ignoring the lately dehydration bs rn 😭).
Omg though yes to the twins TRYING to learn, Yvonne probably has to supervise while Frank’s gone so they don’t, like, burn themselves. I feel like they probably go really crazy though (since Becky’s birthday cakes didn’t even have sugar 💀).
