why would u ask me this….

okay so!

1) gossip girl au — ive been getting very into writing it lately (mostly narration though) and truly enjoy the characters and their dialogue which is something i normally struggle with quite a bit. i really want to bring them to life and show them to the world so im excited to get that done

2) crash & burn. i’ve been writing and plotting SO much for this and i can’t wait to just publish at the very least one chapter. but it’s sooo long. every chapter is probably going to be around 10k-20k and its going to have around 46+ chapters AND that’s not including the alternative ending fic that i also need to finish so every time i think too much about the fic i get overwhelmed TT

3) pirate au — it’s so classic but yesterday when i was calling w lo i just got a sudden surge of inspiration to write it. plus it’s far simpler than most of my other aus cuz the plot is relatively straight forward and the characters, while still dimensional, are less… complex(?) than i normally make them

4) starstruck — the streamer au; it’s quite far along plotting wise but i’ve put it on the backburner for now because ive realized that working on two socmed aus at the same time in my app is NOT for me and ive given priority to the gossip girl au !!

5) scandal au — i really want to write this so badly and am so excited to Get To It. i know the characters, i know the dynamics, i know the relationships. all im struggling with is the world building, especially deciding whether it should be a more fantasy-like setting or if i should keep it modern; and what to do when i make either of those decisions as both will influence the plot in a different way + the fact that i don’t want to make bmjn american and i also don’t want to figure out the korean political system so either way it would have to have a different setting as opposed to the original plot which it’s based on.

6) line of fire — it was the first fic i started writing and it got brought up again during some talks about the hff and made me think about it again… i realized i have around 8k for it already written so i feel like i should at least finish the chapter i was working on yk? and im kind of feeling inspired for it as well

7) sunburn — i NEED to finish at least one chapter of this before the next summer because i will hate myself if i don’t have anything for it to publish for next summer. imo its such a beautiful story and i really enjoy writing the summer vibes and the whole atmosphere of it. i’ve also put a lot of myself into the story and the idea so it would mean a lot to me if i can get some of it done in time for next summer.

8) space between us — i’ve been talking to too many people about this idea since it came up in my mind… which… btw… UR fault. but the whole sci-fi intergalactic setting really speaks to me cuz it’s one of my favourite settings. the only reason why it’s a little lower on the list is because i have absolutely zero interest in all the world building i will have to do TT

9) starseekers — another sci-fi story for which i have around 12k already written… it’s inspired by MIST: unlimited (the danmei) and i really want to finish the chapter i was working on (as this is also one of the first fics i started writing when i joined) and post it or at least have it done.

10) secret society au — i think dedicating fics to friends makes me more motivated to write them so, as u know, this one is supposed to be for you. it’s school journalist beomgyu who wants to do a piece on the very old secret society at their school and yeonjun who is part of it and who’s great-grandfather was part of the founders alongside the rest of txt’s grear-grandparents. and he allows beomgyu to do a piece on it and join them and interview them because beomgyu is pretty. (kind of inspired by logan and rory from gilmore girls)

i have a lot more that i want to write but these are my top ten and from here on it’s just a mess of things i want to work on but nothing is ranked and all of it i wish could just spawn on paper through my thoughts so i wouldn’t have to open my gdocs every day but woe is me
