Yeah, neither did I. Most quotes I saw were people disproving their claims that he was over 5'9" and it's not mean to say their calculations were wrong/off, so I can't think it's anything else.

Omg THANK YOU someone on JP twt even compared his height to the other medium male models and he has a slight variation w his model where he is shorter than them. Plus he's canonically short in-universe, if you interact with the Rating Pistol using him the dialogue makes a jab about him being short. HE IS CANONICALLY short why are people obsessed w proving otherwise 😭
It genuinely feels like a thinly-veild attempt at spiting us rtrn shippers (what else is new?) because we love the height difference between him and Ratio, but he is short. Like you said, the Rating Pistol makes a joke about him being short, as it's not "basing its ratings on height". He only comes up to Ratio's neck, and there's no way Ratio is 6'5". He's tall, sure, but he's not banging-his-head-off-doors tall. All you need to do is compare him next to Ratio to immediately disprove that to yourself. If Aventurine is 176cm, then the Trailblazer is 183cm, too, and TB is not six feet tall. 😭

OOO. THAT WOULD BE SO COOL. I think it would make sense, as well, because Aglaea was one of the three Charities, and I've read here ( https://www.theoi.com/Ouranios/KharisAglaia.html ) she was also the goddess of beauty, splendour, adornment, and glory. 🤔

In the Famitsu translation of character designs the devs specifically mentioned looking at Rome when designing Ratio so :)
I mean, it's not that much of a stretch of the imagination, is it? Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece were very similar, since Ancient Rome took a lot of inspiration fro Ancient Greece to the point that they developed syncretism, so. I don't know why people are resistent to the fact he has Ancient Roman influences; it's obvious. 😭

🌕 again, thanks for answering my prev question! Ratio joining THE capitalist society when the fulcrum of his personality is generally to provide help, even if ppl don't realise it is rather strange. Makes you wonder if he doesn't have some other reason (maybe grant funding and the lesser of some other evil?).
On a separate point, do you think that Dr. Ratio has some position in government in his home galaxy? Going by the Laurel Wreath theory the Union was run through an (academic) meritocracy and Ratio would definitely qualify based on his achievements.
I think it's implied, somewhat, in his CS that he was offered something that made it impossible for him to refuse the offer, given there was a "grim sigh" that followed after he opened the letter, and again, his entire philosophy seems very antithetical to the IPC — who started out as devout followers of the Preservation, people who traded simple materials and offered them to the Amber Lord, before Qixing came along.
To your other point: imagine... a doctor, an educator, an IPC delegate, and a politician all at once. Where does he find the time? Saying that, maybe, or maybe he refused it because it would make it hard for him to achieve his goal of spreading knowledge and bringing education throughout the galaxy. Plus, I think he's too private for that. He doesn't really like being in the light; he's comfortable in the shadows. (Truly an owl, that man...)

do you think aventurine ever learned how to swim? sigonia didn't have water, and after the mess, he arrived at another planet and then got captured. i wonder if he knows how to or if he considered learning it at all
Hmm. I think he might have learned after he was recruited by the IPC, since I imagine extensive training was given to Stonehearts, that might have included swimming for different environments on different planets they're sent to, but who knows, really. It's all up for interpretation.

Did they ever say in-game Ratio got invited to Penacony? How did he get in if only Aventurine got invited? Who is this man?
He is truly an owl with how mysterious he is, but I'm pretty sure Aventurine hints himself that the invites sent out by The Family are actually forgeries; the work of followers of the Enigmata, which would also tie in with either Welt or Himeko (I can't remember who, I think it was Himeko) pointing out that the Family has never sent out invitations to the Charmony Festival until now.

Dr. Ratio whisperer, sorry if it's been asked already, but has Dr. Ratio ever /said/ that he wants to be in the Genius Society/recognized by Nous or was it just in a biography some guy wrote?
It's written in that book that are his character stories that he's actually never spoken about it nor expressed any desire to join the Genius Society out loud, it's just widely speculated that he once harboured a desire to. This is in his CS3. I think it is true that he did once, since Aventurine said he thought he'd given up on that already, but has since stopped pursuing that goal, since he knows, now, as he says himself, that with or without Nous, his contributions to humanity are still invaluable.

hi... ive been a long time follower for now i think and something i've unintentionally been noticing is that you mirror the mannerisms of your close friends a lot and it's nice to watch from a far and how some of the mannerisms keep changing up over time and fading away. you mirror them strongly depending on which person you are more close with. of course your originality is showing like the alpha gens they are lol but they are still there which is just nice to observe on my tl

Hasn't it been pretty much confirmed that we will visit the planets in our planar ornaments sets? Also, I don't know where people are getting this idea at all, because the planet itself wasn't destroyed, it's just severely uninhabitable?

Hello! As the Dr.Ratio whisperer, is there a given reason why he joined the intelligentsia guild? Why would he want to interact with the IPC at all? (HC but I think it might have had to do the fall of the Philosophers Union during the Rupert Wars, with the IPC offering a 'loan' after the fact). Thanks in advance! 🌕
There isn't any given reason, it's only said in his CS3 that he received the letter from the IPC, and when he read it, his TA at the time heard "a grim sigh followed by self-deprecating laughter", which does make me wonder what they offered him since Ratio's entire philosophy seems very anti-capitalist lmfao. That is a good theory, though, I have considered that myself since there were IPC employees who recorded the fall of the Philosopher's Union and if we go with the likelihood of Ratio being connected to the Laurel Wreath Galaxy himself, then it does make you wonder, right?
