ah.. im really sorry if that happened to you, ive been there as well. it was something that really hurt me. but not so great advice, all you can do is ask them what is wrong, what things that make them think like that.

sometimes the answer helps us to realize our doings, which parts that doesn't sit right with some people. and it kinda helps us not to mentally bad mouthing ourselves.
