i have actually seen them live, last year at the lollapalooza in paris, but i don't know how well that compares to an actual concert? it's very loud obviously, and i definitely wouldn't do something where you're standing in the crowd again, because that was quite overwhelming tbh! but!! for me, i forgot everything that was uncomfy when they started performing, like their energy live is absolutely insane and for me helped a lot with not getting stressed or overstimulated in the crowd! gotta make sure to plan what happens after it ends though, that's super hectic so either make plans or have a friend who can take charge (that was me, both of my friends were kinda struggling) and take care of you!!
but overall i'd say it's definitely worth it, especially if you know what exactly you struggle with!! working around that is a lot easier than you might think :D

cookie! great question! i went with ideas i've had for fics where i've assigned them creatures, but also just what i think fits the vibe so!

jeongin is a siren. he fits the aesthetic so well and i love sirens i think they're so cool and his voice,,, ngl this is inspired by ttath and the low, crooing "ppalli" like that gave me siren vibes the first time i listened to it. but yeah. siren! pretty and deadly and voice that'll make you insane

seungmin i think fits fae. i'm not super sure whether i'd sort him into the seelie or unseelie court, because both sides have points i like, but ngl (like minho) i think he tends to be misunderstood which is why he'd fit the unseelie court. then again, he could also very well be a sprite yk. or maybe an imp!! idk but somewhere in the fae realm definitely

for felix i know the general concensus is fairy, and i fully get that but i specifically think of him as some sort of sprite/imp mix. it's about the fairy attributes, the ethereal-ness but als mischief!! but i can also see him as some form of nature spirit

jisung - definitely a nature spirit. maybe dryad or nymph (yes, i know those are female entities but i feel like the idea of them fits him well) just because i think he can really appreciate nature, stays in one place, is curious and sweet yk! and obviously can also get up to shit but i feel like him being a naiad or maybe dryad would work rly well

hyunjin - fae!! definitely of the seelie court!!! nothing more to say to that asfksdjhdg it's just the vibe i get from him <333

changbin is a kobold to me (it's a german type of fairy/sprite, and while it can be malicious they can also be helpful and protective). kobolds are something i grew up with and i just think it fits him, ngl. in my interpretation and based on stories we have of heinzelmännchen, i think they're a bit mischiveous and can be bastards to those they think deserve it, but also helpful and kind so! yeah

minho is a vampire. one of the classics asdjksdghh but really it's an aesthetics thing, too. he's too fucking pretty, and while he could obviously also be fae i think vampirism with a side of shapeshifting works well for him!

chan gives me trouble i swear! he could be a werewolf, and he often is i think but also when we get into the lesser known creatures i can really picture him as a haltija (finnish spirit in the realm of gnomes or elfs who protect and help something or someone) or also as a fairy. like. idk he's just so sweet that fairy fits for him i think! it's the kindness he has

also disclaimer, i am aware that this an entirely european lineup of myhtical creatures, because it's the mythology i'm most well versed in and have been obsessed with for years and years! if anyone has in-depth knowledge of asian creatures feel free to tell me which you think the members are but this is just me!! this was so fun asjkhsdg

so, six of crows! - it's the book that really got me back into reading, and into queer fantasy (queer literature as a whole tbh). i love it so, so dearly and the characters!! ugh. i love them so bad and i'm still upset with netflix ngl but yeah! six of crows reignited my love for books and opened me up to the queer side of things

ace: what asexuality revelas about desire, society and the meaning of sex by angela chen!
this book is just so, so good. there's so many things discussed that do need more awareness in general society, so much to learn not matter what your identity is - i as an asexual who though i knew a lot learned tons, and my mum who did not understand asexuality up until she read it was absolutely overwhelmed (positive), too. it's so good and i can just recommend it to anyone because it touches on so, so many things. incredible book i swear

my last pick is a bit niche, i think. it's rumo & his miraculous adventures by walter moers
it's a german fantasy, so i don't know how well it holds up in english but god. it's a childhood thing (although i was definitely too young when i read it) for me, full of nostalgia yk. something that i share with my dad, and i love the world moers created so much. it's incredibly imaginative, with so many plays on words and tropes and things we know, and full of little easter eggs from and for other books he's written. adventure and found family and an mc who i've assigned autism to and just. it's so, so fun and i read it once a year asjkhfsdg
