⋆ ౨ৎ do you guys agree with me that when listening to songs outside our language-knowledge range, we tend to enjoy the melody of the music the most, without giving too much attention to the lyrics?
do you have a song similar that's not much focused on its lyrical content but has a gorgeous melody that catches your heart?
currently, i love listening to sanam re, a beautiful hindi song by arijit singh! honestly, i can't even put into words how this song makes me feel. the beat is such a mix of emotions for me, it's hard to pin down just one feeling.

I totally agree with you, Claire. When we listen to songs in languages we don't understand, the melody becomes the main focus, creating a beautiful experience beyond words. For me, one song that comes to mind with a captivating melody is "Hoppípolla" by Sigur Rós. It's an Icelandic song with stunning music that really pulls at the heartstrings, even if you don't understand the lyrics
It’s giving kpop song dan latina song, brazilian funk, etc.
yes, i listen more to how the song makes me feel instead of the lyrics yk
for me anyways, good lyrics dont matter as long as the melody is AMAZING n ill still listen to it lol
i listen to soOo many songs outside of english, like kpop n other stuff like that. but i literally know NOTHING abt the lyrics lmao, but again, i dont mind bc i love the melody sm <3
I do agree. I also like it when we're really curious about a song and try to figure out what the meaning behind it and we discover that it’s actually describe about how we feel. Music can really connect with us, even if we don't understand all the word. It's amazing how a melody and emotion can speak to us regardless of language
