how do the languages work in fwa? are they speaking itherian? is it a middle ground language? does bg speak itherian but not read it? fwa is so good!!!
!! honestly i imagine them to speak a language similar to korean but very different still. i think i mentioned it in an authors note at an end of chap maybe in 8 (? idk lol) but they both speak the same language, but their ways of writing it is different. think of goryeo and the earlier joseon period where they wrote in hanja but had different tongue to chinese, it is basically that but flipped; they speak the same language with different writing scripts developed away from each other

I agree that fwa bg can be a bit mean, but I think it's understandable since he's in the enemy's country surrounded by people who hate him that he had to cage himself in his room, something about him being hurt and want to hurt people too, but he can't even say anything to the Itherians, they hate him enough so he lashed out at yj (I think)
ngl halfway reading I just want bg to leave, fck the treaty, let the war happens, maybe bg can shoot an arrow to the king's heart, and keep yj somewhere just so he won't hurt bc of the mating / bond thing, but well in the next paragraph it was said bg don't want the war to happen so 😔😔 hope things will get better
sometimes I don't understand why bg don't have the upperhand, like the peace of the treaty is basically in his hand, they should've respect him, treat him well, they should be grateful bg hadn't say anything about how wronged he was to his fam, I know they won't stand by, cos they love him
also I felt so angry when yj told bg to redeem himself when he did nothing wrong, I want to step on fwa yj ngl
but at least yj finally defend bg in front of those villagers who are so ungrateful btw, thank god for th and mngyu

!!! i agree with u anon but yes... bg has a heavy commitment to Saeren so he wouldnt wage a war just to save himself... its all very vague hand movements type of thing!!! yj does kind of walk on eggshells around him bc he does have a certain upper hand in the treaty, but he also cant send letters himself so now yjs distrust is.. expanding to mg and th. in my notes for this chapter yj is referred to a doormat... i think it is warranted

I feel like I'm very biased towards BG and I have a lot of sympathy for him even though he's also mean and behaves wrongly, but I can't help but feel sad for him because he was so lonely before he became friends with TH and MG. I want to see if YJ will also feel lonely when he goes to searen or not but I think he won't be as lonely as BG because TH and MG are also coming and his relationship with BG has become better?
fwa bg admittedly is a little mean and i love him... he is not perfect either but he is to me UCUHSAJNDI also ur kind of right with yj and saeren bc whereas bg was the only saerenese person in ithera, yj is coming along with mg and th who are also itherian... its a little unfair but bg is not gonna let that stop him lol

every new fwa chapter …. I dislike yj more …. I feel so bad for gyu like the situation he is in and yj just has no sympathy for him. He is js such a self centred and selfish person that he js cant fathom how much gyu actually needs his presence and affection. Like bro literally had a near death experience twice and you literally told him you see him as nothing …. thats js cruel and even then gyu apologised for what he said. Thats js so sad. Even after his heat, it was js so terribly sad. I had to take so many breaks while reading bcs it was making me so sad. I js wish gyu could be happy damn. He is so precious and sensitive and I do want to give yj a fair chance but damn he js outdoes himseld in being unpleasant w every new chapter.
