in what ways do you practice minimalism

I would like to be way more minimalist but I go through my stuff a lot to give away things I don't want anymore. Sometimes I give away things and realise after I still wanted them..

I leave power saving mode on all the time on my phone and almost always set its brightness to the lowest level.
