I got a Real Camera™ recently because I fell in love with the architecture of some neighborhoods in Lyon and my phone just wasn't enough to capture it, so I gotta go there with that camera. It's an hour by train, so I would probably go there for a day, shoot only a small fraction of the tons of pics I want to shoot there, and come back a while later. I borrowed a few books at the local library and found lots of interesting spots, and keep finding more just by looking around in Street View, so I have plenty of walking around to do.

I only ever go on vacations to see the family because they pressure me into it. Ever since I was able to travel by myself, I have never traveled for myself more than those day trips to Lyon, and organizing any other vacation is so stressful for me that it's better for me to just stay at work: I will get more rest that way!
