what kinds of fruits do u think each bg3 party member would be. like the food not the slur
oo!! lae'zel would appreciate a good granny smith; shadowheart loves a plum and other juicy, pitted fruits; astarion can't enjoy regular food anymore but citrus makes him Feel Something at least but he used to love raspberries, blackcurrant and strawberries; wyll recognises the Peak that is the taste and nutrition of a good banana but cherries are his fave; karlach HONESTLY prefers vegetables but truly every food flavour is a blessing so she's just pick whatever she ate last; gale likes cantaloupe; halsin will also love every fruit you give him but has a soft spot for difficult-to-eat fruits like pomegranate because of the meditative preparation and consumption. (these are the only companions i have alas)

oh!!! symon is a half-orc - very tall & broad, freckled, dark grey skintone with 4 prominent tusks. his physicality is very misleading though - he's a bard, and he's far from strong. he's highly charismatic, learned, and will bullshit his way past any fight he can. i'll post some screenshots of him! im so happy with how he looks

i think olruggio and clive would get along extremely well actually, possibly the best of any of our shared blorbos. they even have similar trauma when you think about it. also are both extremely famous guys who just want to hang out with their family. i think qifrey and jill would get along too. polite talk about revenge over tea. torgal would be one of those very gentle big dogs with brushbug but brushbug would bully him u-u

Can I ask a couple marker questions! :) 1. What tools/techniques do you use for blending? 2. Do you have tips for coloring a scene with lots of highlights or bright lights at night, something like that? I love doing this digitally because you can just make a new layer and add highlights/other lights! But my brain has a hard time approaching it on paper...I think because I like to add them last, but when coloring on paper, one should go from lights to darks...maybe a white ink/overlay? 3. you're awesome!! :D
absolutely em!!! i'll answer the blending question on twitter since it'll help to have pictures i think, but for highlights/bright lights... i'm starting to get the hang of it, but it's usually helpful to very faintly mark with a pencil where you want highlights to go before you start colouring. White ink/gel pen/paint is useful for detailed highlights right at the end (I use these especially for eyes, embers, 'shine') but if you wanna use colour, the alcohol ink won't sit right if it's not on the paper itself from experience. If the bright light takes up a large space then blending from a light colour into a dark one will generally look better than ink at the end. Although sometimes you do have to give a piece a lil tweak once it's scanned XD
Going light -> dark is generally a good shout - but specifically within a section you're working on. Since alcohol ink is much less workable once it's hard time to start drying, if you want to blend anything you have to do it whilst it's fresh. It's also better since once a darker colour starts to dry, putting a light colour on top makes it texture as the solvent pushes the pigment around - this can be useful for certain effects though! I can share examples of that too.

I only watched the anime so idk if maybe the manga is more pain (and i heard it deviated from the manga quire a bit) BUT i still super enjoyed it. Lotsa found family going on! x
