What's something that sounds completely bizarre to you in a different accent? Girl from London at work says "gay rage" instead of "garage".

in northern Vietnamese "d" at the beginning of words is pronounced with a /z/ sound whereas in southern dialect it is a /j/ ("y" sound) and I think the northern version is grating to the ears. northern speech in general sounds very choppy to me
