Do you get annual check ups- or let life go on pilot without medical supervision (until the red lights start showing)?

I go whenever I'm in-state and can receive a free checkup. (because of my insurance I can't get a free checkup without being in Oregon)

I like to be a little cautious, get myself checked out even if I don't think anything's wrong.
