I think it'd be fucking COOL if the youths of today always had the RESOURCES at 18 to move out if they wanna. But no, I don't think it's a good idea to normalize moving out at 18. Almost no one seems to actually be able to do that, in the US anyway. I also don't think where you have to shelter yourself, regardless of your age, should ever be a source of shame or guilt.
