hey! i'm writing an ateez fic (https://archiveofourown.org/works/54256189), which is inspired by pretty woman but also heavily inspired by every penny, specially in the first chapters. i was wondering if i could list it as inspired by every penny (or if you'd feel more comfortable if i don't write it at all. it diverges a lot as the story goes, but i'd understand if you didn't like it anyway).

aljskdf;l ka well lucky you i've been doing just that! though i've kept it all in a single thread so that the people who don't want to hear it/be annoyed by my opinions can easily mute it. i don't know that my thoughts are super compelling though; mostly i'm just completely enamored with jongwoo (who i lovingly refer to as my baby bin) and also i completely despise that signal song. but i'm excited to watch more and see how things progress!! (and am selfishly glad i already know the outcome so i can be emotionally prepared with my attachments.)

Came here to say (because I'm shy to slide into your dms) that you're an absolutely amazing writer! You wrote 2 of my fav skz pairings and i want to worship you for this. I'm extremely picky with this fandom fics because I look for high quality stuff and you are one of the best writers I have come across! your work inspired me to write my own story and I have yours as reference but it is impossible to reach your godlike level. I know this question is very generic but what's your best advice for beginners?❤️

as for advice, oh gosh. idk that i'm qualified to give any!! i can say the #1 rule for myself is to write what i want to read and what makes me happy. i also find that having another set of eyes and ears to bounce thoughts and ideas off of is not only really helpful but SO much fun and honestly that's really what fic writing is all about - FUN. there are so many differing opinions on what makes "good/great" writing but i feel like you can determine that for yourself so just focus on enjoying the process and on making something YOU like. gahhhh, i'm so excited for you!!

this is me playing armchair dr so you can totally ignore this, but have you ever looked into getting a sleep study done ? because i used to feel like that as well and then i found out i had sleep apnea
i have thought about this, yes! though, honestly, i think it's also likely due to sleeping with 2 dogs, one of whom likes to stretch her legs out and push her big-ass feet into the middle of my spine at least two or three times a night. unfortunately, we're far past the point where i'm able to not allow them to sleep on my bed so i need to figure out how to deal with it i guess 😬

ahhh hi hi!! oh my gosh i'm so pleased you found some enjoyment in that playlist!! and AHHH YESSS. luminous are SO GOOD. they started popping up in my daily mixes a couple months ago and i fell in love with them immediately. there's SO so good. i feel like they're really flying under the radar right now but i'm hopeful they'll get a break soon; i love their stuff so much!

Top 5 skz that you would recommend to someone who has picky music taste?
oh man i don't know what "picky" would even entail! everyone's picky in different ways! so i'll just go with 5 of my own essential skz tracks and hope that fits the bill.
- levantar (the first of theirs i INSTANTLY loved and i even enjoy the english version which says a lot for me)
- chronosaurus (very possibly my absolute favorite b-side track)
- god's menu (i could also say 'back door' here but god's menu is just... so fundamental)
- red lights (i mean. I MEAN)
- charmer (this song should have been the title track sorry not sorry)

What's your fav doggie memory?? Any fun times with the babies to share?
oh gosh, i don't know that i have one singular memory i could count as best! it's going to sound mushy as hell but, as difficult as it was to get used to, i now actually LOVE sleeping with these nerds. joon tends to sleep near the foot of the bed and usually rests her head on my ankle/shin at the start of the night while kaja settles up closer to my upper back/shoulders. the other night she had her feet like right by my head which didn't bother me too much until she started dreaming KICKED ME IN THE FACE lololll. this morning i woke up at one point because joon had hiccups and she was pressed right against me so i could feel her jerking, my sweet baby. i love that shit.
sometimes they switch places in the middle of the night or i'll wake up with kaja's face smashed into the small of my back and they're slowly starting to NOT go absolutely crazy first thing in the morning and will lick and nuzzle me instead of trampolining on my stomach which is nice.
other then the sweet sleeping part i'm just so SO happy that bringing kaja into our family accomplished exactly what we were hoping it would. we were really hoping getting another dog would help joon grow some confidence and make her grow more "dog-like" instead just being a little ball of anxiety 24/7. and, though it took a bit, it ABSOLUTELY worked. little joon is SUCH a dog now. she gets excited about meal times and can drink water on her own and has even (finally!!) learned some commands and tricks and she's clearly so so SO much happier with kaja around. the two of them together are just so endlessly precious it makes my heart full EVERY DAY. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

what is your favorite thing you've ever written?
oh gosh, this is actually really really hard! i think it might be a 3-way tie between 'Two Weddings and Wingman' (skz, endgame seungsung) just because it was SO much fun to write, 'Of Office Plants & Eggplants' (bts - vmon) because sometimes i'll reread it and it makes me giggle, or Hail Mary (j2) because it's the longest full fic i've ever written and very very ambitious but i'm pretty proud of how much i was able to cover and the emotional beats i hit.
