how many people will be accepted into the zine
Hello! We are looking at accepting about 15 writers and 20 artist! If we receive less art applications, we will have to decrease the amount of writers accepted to have a balanced zine. Thank you for the question!

Hello! I wondered about the whole commercial stuff. What will the zine cost? Where will the money go (donation, charity, etc)? Will there be physical copies or only digital ones?
Hello!
As of right now, we do not know the cost of the zine. That will all depend on how many applications we get, plus the pitches on different merchandise designers would like to make.
This will be a for-profit zine, so if there is any money left over after all sales are completed, it will be divided between contributors/mods.
We will have our Main, SFW zine in physical form, and our NSFW and DDDNE add-ons will be in digital form! Our Main SFW will also be in digital form.

Hi there, I just wanted to follow up on the previous questions someone asked. I personally don't have any completed fics that are within the required word count, so I was wondering if it's allowed to submit an "except" that has been edited to read as if it is a full, completed fic. As in, so long as the piece I submit reads as a completed fic, it doesn't matter that it's technically longer on ao3?
I'm confident that I can write a 3k fic, it's just that I've never really had a reason to before. Thank you!

That is completely fine! If you would like to edit down to within the word count, we are okay with that as long as it makes sense as a complete stand alone work.

Thank you for your answer to my last question. I wanted to check one last detail. Does these two complete works to be submitted have to be between 1,000 and 3,000 words in length from the start? Or can they be longer texts/oneshots, but from which a 1000-3000 words excerpt has been extracted?
Hello!
The 1,000-3,000 is the size of the samples you will be submitting. At least one of them must be a complete, stand alone fic within the word count, with a second submission that can also be a complete work or an excerpt from a larger work within the word count.
The optional, third can be an excerpt from a larger fic, as long as the excerpt is within the word count.
To summarize, all three excerpts must be within the 1,000-3,000 word count!

Hello ! I have a question for writers just to be certain I understood the submission guidelines well. When you ask for two complete works : are these works already published (on AO3 for example) or are these two brand new works we have to write to submit ? Thank you !
You do not need to write new works for this application! You can include works already published on AO3 or other site, as long as you paste them into a new Google document and ensure your name isn't on them to make blind apps possible
