i do appreciate the outside perspective honestly!! my biggest deficit (and im VERY aware of it) is how i portray myself to other people and registering tone and how i come across, and it's something ive struggled with for years, and continue to even with having worked with a therapist on this.

i do want to clarify some things though !! there are two people i interact with more than others and those are literally my best friends. i don't always follow back because i like to curate my tl to what i want to see especially with how broken twt has become where you can even see posts by people who have you blocked?? which is still wild to me. i also go to work at 430 am est almost every day !! so there are a lot of things i miss, and i honestly am too exhausted a good portion of the time to go through every mutual's posts and see what i missed -- usually it comes back up later and if its something that catches my interest i comment on it. ive been in a huge reading slump for literal months and its awful bc theres so many things i want to read but when i open up my tabs to read them, i just cant find my focus to really digest the words everyone has worked hard on creating.

i also definitely dont think my own content is better than anyones!!! honestly, i generally think my content is really boring so its always a surprise to me when anyone likes it haha. but when it comes to following people, if theyre people i interact with frequently and follows me, i generally tend to follow back. i cant follow back all 700+ people who follow me, that's a little overwhelming and i have a very small brain, and spend more time on discord than i do on twitter, or playing lads/genshin/infinity nikki/hsr/wuwa/ffxiv (i play too many games for the time i have), or even just writing.

nothing i do is ever intentionally meant to make anyone feel bad, truthfully! im just a girl with a very small attention span and sometimes, especially after a long week, dont have the spoons to interact with all the people i want to. and i know that i don't really owe anyone an explanation for why im the way i am, but i like to be transparent when it's nothing too deeply personal.

hi anon. im not gonna post this to twt bc i'm not a drama starter, but if it's only one fic out of 37 (after checking their ao3) and hasn't been a recurring thing, then i would assume it's a one-off time and used as a coping mechanism. i'm not going to police who my moots follow and want to be friends with (unless they're a sasaeng or bully), but if you have an issue with this fic in particular and it bothers you or if there were no trigger warnings and it's a trigger, i would bring it up to op directly and settle things 🩷 i've never interacted with the author in question personally, but from my understanding they're very kind and understanding

i pay a lot of attention to what the members say about him and how he behaves with them in logbooks, interviews, etc! sh has described him as "too kind to where he'll let others treat him badly", hj has said that he "needs a little more care than the others" and things like that! he's also incredibly smart, and has said before (i cant find the source) that he looks at people as if he wants to memorize them. sn has said that yeosang is super kind as well. so taking those into account is a really good way to characterize him, while turning him into a villain, as an "extra", or as getting in the way of another ship is a kind of big deterrent imo! he's also someone who you have to repeat things two or three times to to make sure he gets is/understands/has heard you, and is incredibly silly. he isn't someone who hates skinship (if you watch videos from their rookie years, he's always hanging off of sn and would seek sn out for comfort a lot of times), so the way he acts when sn or wy or sh tries to kiss him is all for dramatics! (personally, i think he just doesn't like the sound of the kiss so close to his ear, not the act itself)

for my own personal touches, i like to project my autism and adhd on him, and put my own experiences into his character. he displays a lot of ND tendencies so it's really easy to project onto him!

-nicknames in narration (unless the POV character doesn't know the other character's name, like shortening hj to 'jccng' and sh to 'hwc' outside of dialogue)
-mischaracterization (unless its essential to the story!) and draining characters of their personality and reducing them to just 'hole' if its a pwp
-first person pov
-spacing in the formatting (sometimes when there's no extra space between paragraphs it gets hard to read)
-ANY time ys is made out to be the villain, extra, etc bc that boy is an angel and deserves the world
