unpopular opinion: hate is as normal as love. unfortunately, so many people refuse to look at the dark side. life is not as simple as black and white where you can choose one side and ignore the bad ones. hidup enggak selamanya ada di sisi terang. kadang orang-orang butuh juga bagian gelapnya buat jadi penyeimbang. there is a book on my bedside which i haven’t finished yet since i got no time by jiemi ardian, merawat luka batin. i remember there is a part where the author told the reader: negative emotions are still emotions. being mad, sad, disappointed, is also a part of our emotional system. i believe the same thing happens to society through something called ‘hate’. is it bad? it might be. c’est la vie. it is life. no matter how bad it is, it will always be there. and it’s up to us, as the humans, how can we respond to them. and for me, if someone hates me for no reason, i treasure them as how i treasure people who loves me. they are a part of my life nonetheless. whatever the reason is (even when it’s no reason).
