i admire parrots and all birds very much :D

and hmmm…parrot fic…parrot fic…let’s see…maybe reigen and mob go to investigate an apartment building where the residents keep hearing fluttering noises along with a creepy disembodied voice that repeats their deepest secrets over and over again…and during their investigation, reigen and mob discover that the voice actually belongs to the ghost of a parrot who used to live with an old woman in the building. the parrot would fly around and collect all the latest gossip, which she would then repeat to the old woman, who was extremely nosy haha

when this old woman passed away suddenly from a heart attack, the parrot died of grief soon after…only she can’t move on because she doesn’t want to leave without her old friend…so she just continues flying around the apartment building, searching for gossip for the old woman. also, as a spirit, the parrot can now read minds HAHA, so she finally has access to everyone’s juiciest secrets :’D and so she’s just been terrorizing everyone, following them around and reciting their secrets all over the apartment building in an attempt to find the old woman again (she probably causes a few domestic rifts this way fjshahkd)

cue the ghost parrot landing on reigen’s head during their investigation and just. nonchalantly reciting all of his most private and shameful thoughts about mob hahaha…i like to imagine him flailing at the parrot while she flaps in the air around him, almost totally unbothered, calmly repeating stuff like “i love mob. i love mob so much. mob is the first thing i think about in the morning and the last thing i think about at night. i want to spend my life with mob. i want to kiss mob. i want to fuck m—” and reigen’s just like AAAAAGHHHGAH, arms windmilling all over the place hahahaha

anyway—naturally this leads to reimob confessing their feelings and getting together :’D and then they take the ghost parrot to visit the woman’s ashes at her son’s home. the parrot finally reunites with the woman’s spirit and at last gets to spill all that piping hot tea she collected for her hahaha. and then they move on together :)) the end
