Shaak - it formed out of a hatred for a proprietary system and ended up absolutely blowing it out of the water in terms of usability. It protects over 100k users across ~100 servers, and it's completely open source! The only issue right now is that it's pretty abandoned and doesn't conform to the latest Discord standards.
