i think the nail in my coffin was getting his narration pov. in nov 2022 when i finally bit the bullet and admitted i want the old man, it was mostly hs blackrom ♠️ type yumeing but ........ the more he started being pathetic on my screen the more like genuinely affectionate i got about him which brings me here now ! posting cute date pics with my fifi nui 😭

my no. 1 fave is figafau - there is so much love and tenderness and bitterness and frustration that can be explored between the two of them that i just cant help shipping them. also. i am a sucker for teacher/student relationships but also i love how strained their current dynamic is and how there is so much place for miscommunication. i love how they parallel and contrast each other in terms of leading and being worshipped, and i also like how they keep (accidentally) hurting one another even tho they love the other very much. LOL !! sad !!! i could cry about them every single day.

and then in no particular order i have:
* misuaki - its very tender and i like how akira is kind of giving mithra the vocab to express his emotions and he is just generally making mimi aware of how he feels :") i think its sweet they give me cuteness aggression. they also remind me of trying to teach a feral dog to show love ufdjnsfjknk
* ozfi - i like doomed yuri. they make me so sad. i cannot be articulate about them its just ughhhh it's so obvious oz cares for figaro in some regard for sure but figaro holds such weird unrealistic standards about love ++ believes himself not worthy of it anyways so he could never parse that oz loves him. fucked up !!! also this is one of the funniest (saddest) examples of how bad figgy is at communicating and being communicated to.
* misuowe - i love violence as a love language they are the closest i can get to a kismesitude in mhyk. also they make for impeccable guro fanart !
* murrshy - whatever centuries-long dance of denying one another On Purpose has me going insane.
* bradnero - divorced people who can still be insanely codependent.
* snowfiga - i like seeing figaro beaten up and in pain ! and i like the tension snow and fifi have between how they view loneliness and love. its fun !

i have two versions i guess which are in wizard world and in modern au.

in both cases the two of us have Horrid attachment issues and suck at communication and we are quietbpd4quietbpd 💀 i think figaro manages to do a hilarious job of being awfully clingy but also distant at the same time. we both are each other's safe space even though we are kinda weird about it siwkdkwdoakd

fifi met my wizard like 1400 yrs pre canon in the north and they've had awful codependent toxic yaoi for a whole millenia during which they had at least 3 divorces. and after all that they had one Big For Real Divorce and ghosted each other for 300 yrs until they were forced back together by circumstances (my wizard was needed to assist the sage's wizards. lolol). and now fifi Really wants to start over with my wizard and try his best but my wizard fucking hates him 💀 (they dont but. its hard for them to let him back into their heart). its a classic case of they fell first, and fifi fell waaayyy later but also the hardest.
