random thoughts that haunt me
pre amnesia caelus having a total different personality than when he has amnesia so when he gets them back, he has to struggle acting as his amnesiac self and questioning if he can say everythi g he did with the astral express was fake
added dancae angst: pre amnesiac caelus being the kind of person dan heng wouldnt consider falling for but they are now dating but shit hits the fans when caelus get his memories and caelus, much to his displeasure, retains his feelings
did you really have to drop angst on me the day before my birthday (even if i saw it after) LOL...
man..... amnesia plots are always rough.... because on one hand, it is understandable to doubt your experiences when you're drastically different from how you were like when you didn't have your memories. but that also doesn't really make the time you spent and what you felt in the moment less genuine or something fake either. for better or for worse, both versions of yourself are equally real and valid. it's just a matter of trying to reconcile the two images you have of yourself....
as for the dancae angst part..... honestly, i think dan heng would understand the identity struggle better than anyone else because he himself has had to deal with the burdens of dan feng's sins and the lingering memories from his failed descaling ceremony. i think that even if caelus is different now, dan heng would make an effort to get to know him as he is.... if the feelings fade in the end, then it happens; still, they need to try.... because there is love there regardless.

mutual pining dancae prior to relationship ouch that hc is too good that's actually i personally imagine it too. i think of caelus as someone who's curious and eager to try and discover new things. so when he's aware of feelings for dan heng, he's only go-to option was to confess. i'd like to put in a request for a fic about this hc but idk if i can handle dancae in turmoil. anyways thank you for writing them i love your fics!

angst isn’t usually my style but i think that prior to properly getting together, caelus actually confesses to dan heng first before they arrive at luofu and is rejected since dh is still keeping a lot of secrets from everyone.
caelus is heartbroken at first, but then learns about him being created solely to be a vessel for the stellaron and thinks that maybe it was for the best that dan heng rejected him—not when he doesn’t know how much of him is a person, and how much of him is pure stellaron. so he decides to just be content with being dan heng’s friend. that in itself is enough; just being around dan heng should be enough.
meanwhile, now that his secret is out and everyone’s feelings about him haven’t changed at all, dan heng is ready to attempt a relationship with caelus. he gets ready to confess, but caelus begins to avoid being alone with him and they get caught in a stalement…. both sides wanting, but one side ready to give it all up while the other is trying for another chance…. they will get together in the end, but it is a very tense period for both of them….

hello!!!! don't worry, i'm eating at least once a day!!!! usually i eat around late afternoon (3pm to 5pm) and then eat again at night (9pm to 11pm) if i remember. honestly, this type of schedule is... kind of normal for me... i am a gamer first, human being second.... i hope that you're having a good day as well and that you're taking better care of yourself than i'm doing for me.....

aww thank you! it's just super surprising to me that anyone remembered me at all since it's been so many years and because i don't really engage with fandom that much tbh... i tend to keep to myself a lot of the time and just quietly post fics so me actually speaking with people while being on orvtwt is actually a new experience for me.
