Are there any of the headcanons you want to elaborate on specifically? Like wanting to talk more about specific choices for ones you've thought about more than others
Not a headcanon but it’s in the list, but the thing I think about the most in relation to queer identity in Ensemble Stars is Sora’s bisexuality.
I wonder if it has to do with the way he sees colors? Maybe he’s gender blind as well? Either way it’s on my mind a lot. I love you Sora. It’s pretty much canon so… that’s why I picked it there? He fell for Euryale as a child despite their lack of gender ++ Medusa as an adult. It’s nice to rotate in my brain. He also describes Medusa’s beauty in a similar way that he talks about Shishou, lol.
Umm, other than that, HiMERU I think as genderfluid more out of the role he takes, as he must be able to switch everything about him in a second, and it intertwined itself into his gender identity.
Umm.. Ibara within the fandom actually gets headcanoned as such very frequently due to the bogie time story and mostly card art, (I headcanon her as a lesbian because of bogie time) however, I have my own reasons, rather about the way that Ibara has grown up creating a point of view on a ‘masculine role’ in society, and how Ibara does not necessarily fit into it.
Those are only a few examples, if you want a specific about my thoughts on something, I could answer! It’s a bit difficult to bring certain thoughts to mind however.

Looking at the gender/sexuality tier lists was super cool! I appreciate the color ordering. Also I think you might be the first person I've ever seen do one of these and put Tomoya in the straight category. I think some of these opinions were real actually. Speak your truth.

If I love women, why wouldn’t Tomoya love women as well? (Joking joking) It’s probably because the reason why he’s placed into the “Gay” category in the first place is in my “Girl/Transgirl” category 🥹 (Hokuto)

As long as you all promise to not maul me (questions or specifics are okay to ask!) but here, I made two tierlists for you. One for gender the other for sexuality.
Apologies if I am a bit boring about this. I do hot intend to be. It is simply how I view them and/or how I project upon them.

Do you ever pay much attention to the writers, or do you usually just read whatever and view it all the same?
I do pay attention to the writers but I mostly just read. But I think it’s more fun to read then guess what writer it was. It’s a shame I can’t see anymore but I can still guess. It’s better for the safety of the writers because some people are just petty to be honest, like we cannot say a story is bad by the writer. Example, Kinosei is always determined as worst writer but I like Kinosei’s Sora more than Akira’s Sora. And Sora is my favorite so… Yes, Kinosei is great at writing Switch in general in my opinion, Akatsuki too if he doesn’t attempt to write Kuro.
I used to place bets on who’s writing (especially in Akatsuki) depending on the ratio of “Danna” vs “Hasumi” said by Kuro, as well as how much in character Kuro is. He’s always the make or break. My data has been totally thrown off by Raison d’etre though I’m not going to lie what was Akira thinking.

Around what time did you start playing? Do you care much about the game itself, or do you usually just play around the minimum then read whatever story seems interesting
Playing? 4 years ago on Music. I made a Basic (or ensemble stars!) Account 7 years ago around the release of Switch because I liked how Natsume looked then didn’t care about it/forgot about it till one of my friends reintroduced me and I have not fell out since I picked it up again.
I hate playing the game but I read every story because I like knowing things before I state my opinions, even if I don’t care about the characters in the story. That’s why my favorites change a lot. Sora and AKATSUKI are Forever here to stay as my favorites though.

Do you have any particular thoughts/feelings towards the new characters? I thought the Raika stuff you made was really cool! I was surprised to see everything come to life so quickly
I LOVE RAIKA HOJO. SO BAD. along with that keychain I’m currently making him a custom bjd LOL
Other than Raika I am VERY fond of Ibuki. Then would probably be Kanna, Esu and Yume in that order.
I do like Yume and Esu’s lore. But god. I saw my art in a ship edit of them the other day, which I don’t mind by the way and I loved it!,,, but oh my GOD they’re literally a train wreck of a pairing, like it’s so terrible but you can’t look away from it. It was a bit funny to see because Esu is terrified in that piece www… was expecting him to be scared shitless of Yume so I’m glad I got that right.
Other than that, I am worried about Kanna, he’s very interesting to me, but goodness he was just setup at an early age. :(

I don’t care for Nice Arneb Thunder at all I miss my senseis.

Is there a story behind the Nikilol @ or did it just manifest one day with no further reason
I changed my @ to 2p4i3 very recently but Nikiliol is actually a smash of names. “Kili” is my cats name, my online name is Saki but “Niki” is my real name (I don’t mind giving it away since it was known for literal years that it’s my name, it’s changed now due to privacy reasons but it’ll take a while to cover up so might as well revert it a bit). So that’s the Nikili— part. The “ol” just manifested itself.
2p4i3, my current handle is actually “pi” with the first three digits reversed “But it’s 3.14” I thought the 1 would look ugly in it. lol.
