PLEAHSHEJE people have diff ways of intepreting this and i like that theres so many theories/views on every part because it's fun for me to read!!!! i feel like to an extent yj does know about all that tbh… but he didn’t expect bg’s reaction to be like that… and thats what he likes about bg.. that he’s not boring and he actually has to put in effort to predict what bg’s gonna do next. not many people can surprise hmyj but hmbg is one of them and THAT right there is what had him really attracted to bg in the first place. i think to a certain extent hmbg knows that they key to make this go anywhere/do what he needs to do is… not lose that interest and keep that element of surprise. it’s sort of burdening in the sense that… u have to STAY interesting. hmyj knew what he said was wrong from the beginning tbh… so i guess the question is did he genuinely apologize bc he felt apologetic or did he jus do it because it was an unplanned reaction from bg so he said it to fix things. i don’t think bg is SUPER hurt about it.. i think hes just frustrated because he IS attracted to yj and thinks he has the most potential to be his type.. bg is complicated like that.

i don’t know if hmyj technically needs to be redeemed… if you look at my carrd.. all these characters were created to be as 3d as possible (esp bc theyre based off of real ppl in my life thruout the yrs).. so they’ll fuck up and everything. hmbg has his faults as well and if we look at it then.. hmyj hasnt done anything specifically to be redeemed for to him, i won’t ever take the complete essence of his character away. both hmbg and hmyj have different thought processes on a lot of things but they also have similar thought processes… bg was attracted to THIS version of yj. so i don’t know if he wants him to change all that much either. hmbg understands yj better than people think he does and this dynamic he has w him is what he likes.. and honestly speaking hmyj is more open than hmbg. hmbg has the potential to be even more toxic than him so i really don’t believe the word redemption used specifically only for hmyj is the right terminology.

as for hmhk… well everything ab him going forward depends on whether or not hmbg even wants him as a friend again in the first place. remember: all these characters are meant to be as 3d as possible so there’s many things that could happen regarding their friendship and whether or not they’ll ever see eye to eye again or id their friendship will become even more toxic.

sbn has a significant role from tne start of the au because HE is hmyj’s best friend. literally no one else knows hmyj like sbn does… and they have a very close bond. in terms of frat dynamics taehyun would be hmyj’s little brother and sbn is the one he views as an equal. even to be yeonjun’s best friend… u def need to be at least a little bit smart so… but i do i think every character small or big will have a role to play in terms of bmjn’s dynamics. the au has always been ab exploring their lives/dynamics without each other w their friends/acquaintences and exploring their college life/what comes with it. the frat will all play a big role and so will the people in bg’s life. everything connects to bmjn’s relationship but the frat and their work duties will be highlighted as well.. i’ve made it a personal mission to world build as much as possible in this format.

omg this was so sweet and made my day genuinely better. thank you sooo soooo much!!! hm is def a slow burn type au!!! they jus have to go thru so much to really evolve as characters and for it to feel natural to me (especially because it’s heavily inspired by my real life hs/college experiences so evensome of the texts/convos are taken from that and thats why it’ll happen at a pace that was similar to my experience!). as for hmyj… hes both easy and hard to understand imo.. like its all about… is he really showing u all of him in the first place? this is a person whos been media trained since like birth and although he is honest for the most part… that doesn’t necessarily mean he doesnt choose more sneaky ways/choose not to say important info. we’re viewing him from hmbg’s lense.. who doesn’t know much at all yet. but in terms of rn i think its very clear he finds the whole situation w bg amusing and thinks its fun.
