my best friend is reading the song of achilles and we both realize patroclus and achilles are jigyu core. thoughts?
i will admit i was only a percy jackson type greek mythology fan as a child so i had to read a summary of it and i’m assuming that achilles is woozi and patroclus is mingyu in this situation. if so that is an incredible thing to think abt. esp the singing and playing songs to him while alone in a tent thing. will be running thru my mind for a good long while thank you

what is your ranking in the different ways to cook eggs?
i’m so glad you asked because i actually have opinions on this
1.) scrambled. i’m a simple guy! i prefer mine buttery and on the more watery side and i season them before i cook them :) putting a few green onions on it as garnish is god tier
2.) sunny side up in a bowl of ramen with some soy sauce, sesame seeds and green onions. fucking delicious
3.) poached on eggs irish
4.) hard boiled. simple hard boiled egg is good but it can be elevated to like number two on my list if it’s ajitama
i’m not personally a fan of heavily cooked eggs unless they’re hard boiled. i’ve tried tamago gohan and i enjoyed it but the texture is a little tough for me to get through

this is a genuine question, is it wrong for a straight person to say they think hoshi is dating that guy? because honestly it's pretty obvious, they literally spent christmas together and in korea christmas isn't as family-oriented as it is couple-oriented, i'd honestly believe it and they look cute and happy together! but i just don't know if it's okay for me to make that assumption since i'm straight
oh no not at all! of course we probably will never know for certain but it is obvious that hoshi is very close with him and happy with their relationship, be it a friendship or something else. that definitely wasn’t the issue i was talking about the other day, it’s fine to have feelings and assumptions about anything!
my issue was more of straight carats seeing “gay svt” as nothing other than fodder for jokes, no matter if the member is actually gay or not- even just the possibility is seen as silly and ripe for mocking (they may not see it as mocking but when it comes from a het person it usually has that tone) by a lot of people. just my personal perspective as a gay man: it’s not even the fact of anyone being gay or same sex attracted, because we don’t know that, and probably will never know for sure, but just the idea of it is framed as either funny or twisted into some fanfiction type thing. (everyone who knows me knows i have no issue with fic whatsoever, but i personally do not trust most hets who partake in it just because the way they talk about gay men is strange. gay people do whatever u want ur fine by me)

OH, about the last question... I've read about this and usually, people (especially straight fans) are happy about the idea of their idols being gay just because that implies that the idol isn't gonna be with another woman and being with a man doesn't count or something like that...
that would make sense honestly. either way it’s seeing gay relationships/the idea of gay relationships as either less deserving of respect or not as important as straight relationships which i am used to as a gay man. i’m done with the topic anyways honestly i was just thinking abt some things after watching the vernon reaction from the wider carat community

oh it’s because a lot of people only see idols as commodities to project their romantic desires upon so when said idol gives hints they may be unobtainable to them (gay) they refute it so hard which also connects to straight people finding gay people as a source of comedy. they’re only gay when it’s funny for them not when it becomes a real chance that they are the thing they are laughing about

who do you think in svt is the most to least likely to get into a dating scandal according to you
well i know the least likely in my opinion is boo seungkwan because no way is he gonna get into dating rumors with a woman and he wouldn’t be as painfully obvious as hoshi is currently about a man. others on the low end of the spectrum for me are joshua (similar reasons), jun, and wonwoo. the ones with the highest chances in my opinion are mingyu (simply because of the fact he’s mingyu and hets want to believe he’s with a woman idol so bad from what i’ve seen sometimes. i don’t think there would be any truth to it but it’d happen anyways), dino, and dk. everyone else is at varying degrees on the spectrum at any given time. hoshi is currently number one because it’s literally happening right now.
