Would having a “living funeral” make you appreciate the life you have?

I don't know, I doubt it, I'd probably be too stressed out because of having to perform in public and focused on that to really let the "death" vibe sink in. Also I'd feel like being in a coffin for a while is actually nothing like actually dying. After all, the dead never really experience being put into the coffin. =p

It might be a fun way to break out of the sameness and feel the rush of adrenaline through your veins! It might also make you think of your life choices and reevaluate them.
I'm just listing the possible effects this kind of funeral might have on me but I'm not sure about them. It might have adverse effects on me, IDK.

It is a clever move to say farewell to friends and family when you are alive since you can then engage in the usual feud, tit for tat, slaughter some or sleep with some and do all the things family is used for since ages. So you get all the fun which you would miss when watching it from your grave?

No, it would make me want to dig a hole and jump in - I don't even want a dead funeral
