Can you tell if a perfume/cologne is for men or women? How do you differentiate male and female fragrances? Why do you think they differ?

Yea just look at the name, men's cologne will be called something like "TRUCKS" or "guns" or "I'm a straight male I swear"

The way the genders react on and detect scents is different, so they chose differently. But there are many scents that please almost everybody. Today the specific differences is often just that of the package. It must be named "For Her" oder "For Him" in order to find the right market corner. I personally do not care, I wear a perfume that pleases me whatever label it bears.

I don’t really care to be honest. I have multiple perfumes marketed towards women but I also have a Jimmy Choo Men’s aftershave that I’m obsessed with and I wear it frequently. I’m also never going to complain about a man that smells good. Feminine or Masculine, I’m enjoying it.

Women's perfumes typically have a flowery or fruity smell to them. Men's colognes are stronger, smell more like spices.

I used to...women's perfume used to be more sweet or flowered scented and I'd dare to say more subtle too...but I guess the perfume industry is evolving and changing as society is doing as well. Now I'd say the new fragrances are more unisex type. And I find it to be great tbh

my thought was that women's scents were more flowery/fruity where men's were more earthy but what do I know I was raised by wolves

I don't worry about it. This one https://imgur.com/a/PIz9EKE claims to be for men, but shouldn't it be for everyone?

The easiest way to tell if a fragrance is for men, I find, is that the name will be Leather Daddy for Big Boys™ or Bear Spray For Your Manly Male Men's Pecs™ or Jawline Knife™
