Not really. This online dating stuff is -1 to mental health. And it doesn't feel different if the affection doesn't already exist, as if a formal agreement that both acknowledge they're partnered up. Other than that, I'm not happier with someone than being alone and able to chat and hang out anyway. I'll still try though, because I don't want to give up on things.
