Archeology.
Media studies.
I started using online social media platforms in 2018, since all my school colleagues and my relatives were there. Something that interested me was Facebook, a social media platform focused on connecting with family and friends. It had a very ludic and easy to use interface, as if it was designed for babies. What really baffled me was the content that circulated in that playful application: fake news and right wing propaganda (including pro-dictatorship posts). Back then, I thought that playful design had something to do with how the political debate has really declined and favored the rise of far-right. But that goes much deeper than what secondary education can teach.
