Do you self-host at home? (E.g. hosting your own music server or social insurance etc)

Not yet, but it's something I plan on doing now that I have fibre to the home.

I do! I have 5 rack mount servers in total as well as an old i3 laptop that I use as a gateway between things.

At the moment, all of them are powered down due to the cost of energy in the UK but when it was fully up and running, I had a proxmox cluster running on 4 of them and hosted Discord and Fedi bots, Fedi servers, Websites, Plex, and lots of other things.

I used to host an FTP server. I also hosted a webserver for many years, maybe still do, not sure. I also host an IRC bot. I've hosted a BBS in the BBS days, and also one more recently on Telnet.

No, those things are too complicated to set up and I can't afford the electricity needed
