Worse: someone I'd never even talked to (and never did). At a point where my anxiety, depression and loneliness got really bad, I developed an obsession with a stranger on the internet. I believe it was a (very unhealthy) method of coping; a way for my mind to be distracted from the reality of my situation.
Yes. He became an important catalyst in my life. We both ended up with other people, he with someone he also met online, me with someone in real life. I have since heard he is alone again. I dont have feelings for him now. I don't think I did then, it was fantasy. Powerful fantasy though.
Only happened online. There would be no way that this could ever happen offline, from face to face, in reality. No way!
