How can you managed your feelings when you feel gloomy and blue?

I like to get in touch with my feelings, I think acknowledging my feelings is better than sweeping it under the rug. So I usually let myself be. I let myself drown in the sea of sadness but I keep reminding myself that this will all go away. Here’s one quote that always helps me get through the day: “You know what storms do? They pass.” And just like the storms, all of my sadness will go away when it’s time.

Do you ever leave someone and hurt them because you want yourself not to get hurt?

I have.

Sometimes I run away as an act of self-defense, my head has thousands of scenarios that might happen and once the bad ones gain a slight probability and possibility to come true, I withdraw myself.

It’s not entirely good, what I did, and there’s no justification for that. But I just hope someone would just give me the reassurances and reasons as of why I won’t get hurt. Telling me that no one has the intention of hurting me.

Bayya, someone who apparently always appear when most people are already asleep. Hates to be called Bara, so I sometimes call him Bara just to spite him.

But anyways, I think I’ve never said how I like having you around, and I enjoy your presence. It’s always jolly to have a conversation with you. To me, you’re someone who cares a lot about people around you. You get along well with everyone too, and despite your stone-cold facade (I used to be intimidated by you) you are someone who has a very warm heart, in my opinion. I might be wrong though. Just kidding.

Thank you for always talking to me and putting effort into our conversation. I know I am not good at socializing, and you said so yourself, but talking to you is something that I didn’t know I needed. I’m so glad to have known you, Bayya! Thank you for being such a good friend to me.
