In the US, in my experience, it's primarily Christians, Mormons (Latter Day Saints), and Jehovah's Witnesses who are known for being pushy about their religion. In your locale is that also the case or do other groups fill that role?
I've found that to be the case too. I've mentioned on here that I'm a Buddhist, and while we do love to have people start practicing as well, I don't think we're as pushy as many of the Christian sects, or use the fear-based tactics.
