I'm going to end up watching one of those videos where they splice all the cutscenes together so I can see everything that goes on, and then I will weigh in with my correct opinions

I've not played the game but I believe the issues are its been massively praised by journalists yet has plot wholes and serious pacing issues. I'll likely pick it up at a discount store once the hype fades. Its a bold direction they have taken the story in but as a fan of the first game, I don't think I will enjoy playing the story outside of the flashback scenes. I imagine my opinion is probably that of the triggered gamers (i'm just calmer about it).

"Omg lesbians in a lead role!" Was probably it. Believe it or not Star Wars was "controversial" because Rey is female and Finn is black, angered a bunch of racist losers on Twitter who tried to boycott it (and failed miserably).

Controversy ... ? Ah, a game ... lol.
