Math question: is statistics boring? The admission grade requirements for it are the lowest of all courses at my uni.

No, pretty interesting. There are a lot of fun examples/applications. No one coming out of a stats class will say, “where is math used in real life ???” Undergrad level stats is mostly computational and barely any theory delving. And most courses use calculators or special programs for majority of the tedious calculations. At our college, there are no prerequisites for taking a stats class, but that doesn’t mean it’s boring!
