After my brother died (and in a rare attack of ‘feelings’) I decided to tell the important people in my life how much they really meant to me. One of these people was my best friend. I wrote something in her birthday card and told her not to open it until she got home - that way I could ensure there were no displays of ‘feelings’ in a restaurant (clever, eh?). Anyway, yesterday at lunch she told me I meant “the world to her”. I almost ‘feelinged’ all over the table. I blame the espresso martinis…
